साथ ही प्रदेश में इस समय कई स्थानों पर बंजी जंपिंग, फ्लाइंग फाक्स जैसे साहसिक खेल रोमांच के शौकीनों को बरबस ही अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर रहे हैं। इसे देखते हुए अब नागरिक उड्डयन विभाग प्रदेश में एयरो स्पोट् र्स को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में कदम उठा रहा है। इसके तहत विभाग पैरा जंपिंग, पैराग्लाइडिंग, फ्री फाल जैसे साहसिक खेल व जायरोकाप्टर के जरिये पर्यटकों को रोमांच देने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ा रहा है।
इस समय प्रदेश में मसूरी, मुक्तेश्वर, शिवपुरी, टनकपुर, नैनीताल आदि ऐसे क्षेत्र हैं जहां साहसिक खेल गतिविधियां निजी क्षेत्र के जरिये संचालित हो रही हैं। अब विभाग नए क्षेत्रों को भी चिह्नित कर रहा है। विभाग ने एयरो स्पोट् र्स को बढ़ावा देने को अपनी गेम चेंजर योजनाओं में भी शामिल किया है। इसके लिए नागरिक उड्डयन व पर्यटन विभाग मिलकर कार्ययोजना बना रहे हैं।
