हल्द्वानी में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी उस समय नाराज हो गए जब उन्होंने अतिथियों के नाम की पर्ची में जिलाध्यक्ष का नाम गलत पाया। उन्होंने मंच से ही पर्ची फेंक दी और बिना पर्ची के ही उपस्थित लोगों के नाम लिए। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हर व्यक्ति का सम्मान सही ढंग से होना चाहिए।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी उस समय नाराज हो गए, जब वह मंच से अतिथियों के नाम की पर्ची पढ़ रहे थे। पर्ची में जिलाध्यक्ष प्रताप बिष्ट की जगह प्रदीप बिष्ट (पूर्व जिलाध्यक्ष) लिखा हुआ था। इसे लेकर पहले वह हंसने लगे और फिर नाराज हो गए।
उन्होंने कहा कि मंच से गलत नाम पढ़ा जाता, यह सही नहीं है। हर व्यक्ति का सम्मान सही ढंग से होना चाहिए। पर्चे को फेंकते हुए कहने लगे, इसे पढ़ना ही क्या, फेंक दो…। इसके बाद उन्होंने बिना पर्चे के ही मंच से लेकर सामने कार्यक्रम में बैठे प्रमुख लोगों के नाम देखकर लिए। लोगों ने इस पर तालियां भी बजाई।
वह गुरुवार को काया आयुर्वेदिक मेडिकल कालेज की ओर से आयोजित अंतराष्ट्रीय कान्फ्रेंस के उद्घाटन के बाद संबोधन के लिए मंच पर पहुंचे थे।
