राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (से.नि.) एवं मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने गुरुवार को पतंजलि योगपीठ हरिद्वार में आयोजित जड़ी-बूटी दिवस कार्यक्रम में प्रतिभाग किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने संयुक्त रूप से आज़ादी के अमृत महोत्सव के अंर्तगत जड़ी-बूटी एवं आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धती पर आधारित 75 पुस्तकों का विमोचन एवं 51 नई औषधियों का लोकार्पण किया।
जड़ी-बूटी दिवस पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि राज्यपाल ने आचार्य बालकृष्ण को उनके 50वें जन्मदिन की शुभकामनाएं दी और कहा कि आचार्य जी द्वारा अपने जन्मदिवस को जड़ी-बूटी दिवस के रूप में मनाना प्रकृति के संरक्षण के साथ हमारी समृद्धि के लिए अनोखी पहल है। उन्होंने कहा कि पंतजलि योगपीठ ऋषियों की उस परम्परा को आगे बढ़ा रहा है जिसने भारत को ज्ञान, विज्ञान, संस्कृति, अनुसंधान और आध्यात्म के बल पर विश्वगुरू के गौरव तक पहुुंचाया है।
राज्यपाल ने कहा कि योग, आयुर्वेद, यौगिक एवं बौद्धिक ज्ञान, जड़ी-बूटी, चिकित्सा हमारी विश्वगुरू की भावना की अनुभूति को बढ़ाने वाले हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत की पहचान अपनी सभ्यता, संस्कृति और आयुर्वेद के कारण है। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि हम फिर से विश्वगुरू की पहचान प्राप्त करने की दिशा में बढ़ रहे हैं इसमें पतंजलि भी नेतृत्व की भूमिका में आगे बढ़ता दिखाई दे रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पतंजलि के विजन में आत्मनिर्भर भारत, बौद्धिक संपदा, आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस जैसे विचार और भावनाएं निहित हैं जो वर्तमान समय की मांग है। उन्होंने कहा कि आजादी के 75वीं वर्षगांठ के अवसर पर जड़ी-बूटी एवं आयुर्वेद चिकित्सा पद्धती पर आधारित 75 पुस्तकों का विमोचन अपने आप में अदभुत है। उन्होंने कहा कि जड़ी-बूटी दिवस लोगों के जीवन में सुख, शांति और समृद्धि की मूल अवधारणा को पुष्ट करने वाली है। भारत ने योग और आयुर्वेद की महान पंरम्परा को आधुनिक रूप दिया है।

उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना काल के दौरान दुनिया ने आयुर्वेद के सिद्धांतों को अपनाया और लाभ पाया। आयुर्वेद जीवन का एक समग्र विज्ञान है, आज दुनिया भर में इसकी स्वीकार्यता है। आयुर्वेद केवल किसी रोगी के उपचार तक सीमित नहीं है बल्कि भारतीय दर्शन में इसे जीवन के मूल ज्ञान के रूप में स्वीकारा जाता है इसलिए इसे पंचम वेद की संज्ञा दी गई है। मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में नई कार्यपद्धति का उदय हुआ है। विश्वभर में 21 जून को योग दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। संपूर्ण देश में आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के अंतर्गत हर घर तिरंगा फहराने का जन आंदोलन चलाया जा रहा है। उन्होंने 2025 तक उत्तराखंड राज्य को प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में अग्रणी राज्य बनाने का सभी से आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने भी बीते दिनों संपन्न हुए एक वैश्विक कार्यक्रम में, आयुर्वेद के माहात्म्य पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा था कि प्लांट से लेकर आपकी प्लेट तक, शारीरिक मजबूती से लेकर मानसिक कल्याण तक आयुर्वेद अत्यधिक प्रभावी है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि स्वामी रामदेव और आचार्य बालकृष्ण ने योग और आयुर्वेद को एक नई पहचान दी है। इस दौरान आचार्य बालकृष्ण ने मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी को हर घर तिरंगा अभियान हेतु विभिन्न स्थानों में फहराने हेतु 50 हज़ार राष्ट्रीय ध्वज (प्रतीकात्मक रूप से) भेंट किए।
