कृषि एवं उद्यान मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने सोमवार को सचिवालय स्थित एफआरडीसी सभागार में उद्यान विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ एक सप्ताह पूर्व हुई बैठक में दिए गए दिशा निर्देशों की प्रगति की जानकारी ली। बैठक में सचिव वी.बी. आरसी पुरुषोत्तम, अपर सचिव रणवीर सिंह चौहान और विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
बैठक में मंत्री जोशी ने विभागीय अधिकारियों से पिछली समीक्षा बैठक में दिए गए दिशा निर्देश की जानकारी ली अधिकारियों द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि शीतकालीन सीजन में फल एवं सब्जी के पौध की डिमांड में फलों की डिमांड 7,47,341 आयी है । ऐसे ही सब्जियों के पौधों की मांग 257.61 लाख आयी है। इसी प्रकार फलों में सेब की पौध की डिमांड 4,15,905 आयी है। मंत्री जोशी ने अधिकारियों को सेब पर विशेष ध्यान देने के निर्देश देते हुए अधिकारियों को जनपदवार डीएचओ से पर्सनली बात कर प्लांटेशन बढ़ाने के निर्देश दिए।
मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि किसान को गुणवत्ता युक्त वैरायटी के पौधे उपलब्ध कराए जाए, उन्होंने कहा आज किसान सेब की एम -9 की वैरायटी की जगह रूट स्टॉक की वैरायटी की ओर जा रहे है, जिसको लेकर मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि जिससे किसानों को लाभ हो वह अच्छी वैरायटी के पौध किसानों को उपलब्ध कराया जाय । मंत्री जोशी ने एम -9 को रूटस्टॉक में परिवर्तित कर किसानों को गुणवत्ता युक्त और अच्छी पैदावार के पौधे उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिए। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि किसानों को प्रोत्साहित करने के साथ-साथ शीघ्र ही ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम भी शुरू करने जा रहे हैं जिसमें हिमाचल के जीत चौहान से बातचीत की जा रही है। ताकि वह किसानों को ट्रेनिंग दे सके।
बैठक में रूफ गार्डनिंग को लेकर भी चर्चा की गई जिसमे उद्यान विभाग द्वारा रूफ गार्डनिंग को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए 25 दिसंबर से 02 जनवरी 2023 तक रूप गार्डनिंग सप्ताह के रूप में मनाया जायेगा। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि फरवरी बसंतोत्सव के समय उसमें फूलों के साथ साथ रूफ गार्डनिंग में उगाई गई उत्पाद के साथ प्रतियोगिता की जाएगी ।जिसमे रूफ गार्डनिंग के प्रोत्साहन के लिए विजेता को ईनाम दिया जाएगा।
बैठक में मंत्री जोशी ने सेंटर फॉर एक्सीलेंस को लेकर अधिकारियों को एक सप्ताह में एक्शन प्लान बनाने के निर्देश भी दिए। इसके साथ ही मंत्री जोशी ने अधिकारियों को नर्सरी के लिए एक ठोस कार्य योजना बनाने के भी निर्देश दिए मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि अगली बार किसान पौध के लिए बाहर न जाए, सभी पौध यहां से अन्य राज्यों में सप्लाई हो इसके लिए अधिकारियों को दिशा निर्देश दिए। मंत्री जोशी ने कहा कि हमारा जो संकल्प है कि 2025 तक किसान को आय दोगनी हो इस दिशा में प्रदेश सरकार लगातार प्रयासरत है।
इस अवसर पर सचिव वी.बी.आरसी पुरुषोत्तम, अपर सचिव रणवीर सिंह चौहान सहित विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
