जीएसटी के ताजा आंकड़े छोटे प्रदेश उत्तराखंड के लिए सुकून देने वाले दिख रहे हैं। छोटे-बड़े हर एक कारोबार व व्यवहार में बिल प्राप्त करने की प्रवृत्ति जगाने के साथ कर वसूली को प्रभावी बनाने के प्रयास से प्रदेश का जीएसटी संग्रह नई मंजिल की तरफ बढ़ रहा है।
31 मार्च को समाप्त हुए वित्तीय वर्ष में प्रदेश में जीएसटी संग्रह में 3147 करोड़ रुपये की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है।आयुक्त राज्य कर डा. अहमद इकबाल के मुताबिक, वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में प्रदेश ने सीजीएसटी, एसजीएसटी, आइजीएसटी व सेस को मिलाकर 13 हजार 698 करोड़ रुपये का संग्रह किया था।
वहीं, हाल में बीते वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में 16 हजार 845 करोड़ रुपये का संग्रह किया गया। आयुक्त डा. इकबाल के अनुसार, कराधान को बेहतर बनाने के लिए वित्त मंत्री से लेकर मुख्य सचिव स्तर से भी निरंतर निगरानी की जाती रही।
इसका असर विभाग की कार्यशैली पर भी पड़ा। जिसका नतीजा यह रहा कि राज्य में रिकार्ड स्तर पर कर वसूली की जा सकी। राज्य का हिस्सा 1391 करोड़ रुपये बढ़ासिर्फ स्टेट जीएसटी की बात की जाए तो वित्तीय वर्ष 2021-22 में हम 5973 करोड़ रुपये की वसूली कर पाए थे, जबकि 2022-23 में यह आंकड़ा बढ़कर 7364 करोड़ रुपये हो गया।
इसी तरह नान जीएसटी यानी वैट में 2292 करोड़ रुपये के सापेक्ष हाल में बीते वर्ष में 2550 करोड़ रुपये की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई। मार्च माह में भी पकड़ी रफ्तारवित्तीय वर्ष के अंतिम माह मार्च 2023 में उत्तराखंड में जीएसटी में 1523 करोड़ रुपये की वसूली की गई, जबकि बीते वर्ष के मार्च माह में यह वसूली 1255 करोड़ रुपये थी। इस तरह इसी एक माह में 21.34 प्रतिशत की बढ़ोतरी पाई गई। वहीं, इस माह का राष्ट्रीय औसत 14.39 प्रतिशत रहा।
