डीडीहाट विधानसभ के अंतर्गत फौज के एक जवान को पोस्टल बैलेट पर हस्ताक्षर करने का वीडियो वायरल होने के मामले में पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। मामला फिलहाल अज्ञात के खिलाफ दर्ज हुआ है। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने शीघ्र मामले के खुलासे का दावा किया है।
बीते रोज कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी प्रदीप पाल ने जिला मुख्यालय पहुंचकर एक फौजी द्वारा दर्जनों पोस्टल वैलेट पर हस्ताक्षर किए जाने का वीडियो जिलािधकारी और पुलिस अधीक्षक के सामने रखा था। भाजपा र्काककर्ताओं ने यह मामला डीडीहाट में रिटर्निंग आफीसर के सामने रखते हुए कार्रवाई की मांग की थी। दोनों राष्ट्रीय दलों ने वीडियो सार्वजनिक किए जाने को चुनाव प्रक्रिया पर बड़ा सवाल बताया था।
पुलिस ने मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए बुधवार को डीडीहाट थाने में अज्ञात के खिलाफ मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर लिया है। पुलिस अधीक्षक लोकेश्वर सिंह ने बताया कि मामला पंजीकृत करने के बाद जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। जल्द ही पूरे मामले का खुलासा कर लिया जाएगा। मामले की गूंज पिथौरागढ़ के साथ ही अब प्रदेश की राजधानी तक भी पहुंच गई है। पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत ने भी इस मामले को उठाते हुए कार्रवाई की मांग की है।
