मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी की वर्चुअल उपस्थिति में केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री आर. के. सिंह द्वारा श्रम शक्ति भवन, नई दिल्ली में उत्तराखण्ड में आपदा प्रभावितों के सहायतार्थ सी.एस.आर. के अंतर्गत 7 पॉवर पीएसयू के सौजन्य से संकलित कुल रू 22.5 करोड़ का चेक आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत को प्रदान किया गया। इस अवसर पर केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा राज्य मंत्री कृष्ण पाल गुर्जर भी मौजूद थे।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कार्यक्रम में सचिवालय से वर्चुअल प्रतिभाग कर इस राज्य को प्रदान की गई सहायता के लिए केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री आर. के. सिंह का आभार व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि अक्टूबर में अतिवृष्टि से उत्तराखण्ड को काफी नुकसान हुआ था। इस आपदा से निपटने के लिए केन्द्र सरकार से राज्य को पूरा सहयोग मिला। इसके लिए उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह एवं ऊर्जा मंत्री आर. के सिंह का आभार व्यक्त किया। मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने कहा कि केन्द्र से हमें 03 हेलीकॉप्टर मिले जिसकी वजह से हम 500 से अधिक लोगों की जान बचा पाये।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आपदा की दृष्टि से उत्तराखण्ड संवेदनशील राज्य है। हिमालयी राज्य होने के कारण उत्तराखण्ड की भौगोलिक परिस्थितियां अलग हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि उतराखण्ड को ऊर्जा प्रदेश के रूप में अग्रणी राज्य बनाने हेतु प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं, जिसके लिए केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री आर. के. सिंह का पूरा सहयोग मिल रहा है। इसके लिए उन्होंन आर. के. सिंह का आभार भी व्यक्त किया।
केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री आर. के. सिंह ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड पूरे देश के लिए पूजनीय राज्य है। इस राज्य का अलग महत्व है। श्री बद्रीनाथ, श्री केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री एवं यमुनोत्री आस्था के प्रमुख केन्द्र हैं। उत्तराखण्ड के विकास के लिए जो हो सकता है, सब किया जायेगा।
आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में आपदा प्रबंधन के लिए केन्द्र सराकर द्वारा राज्य को हर संभव सहयोग दिया गया। इसके लिए उन्होंने केन्द्र सरकार का आभार व्यक्त किया। आपदा प्रभावितों के लिए दी गई इस सहायता के लिए उन्होंने केन्द्रीय ऊर्जा मंत्री का आभार व्यक्त किया।
उत्तराखण्ड में आपदा प्रभावितों के सहायतार्थ सी.एस.आर. के अंतर्गत 7 पॉवर पीएसयू द्वारा संकलित कुल 22.5 करोड़ रू की धनराशि का जो चेक प्रदान किया गया। उसमें एनटीपीसी द्वारा 8 करोड़ रू, आरईसी द्वारा 5 करोड़ रू., पीएफसी द्वारा 4 करोड़ रू., पीजीसीआईएल द्वारा 3.5 करोड़ रू., एनएचपीसी द्वारा 01 करोड़ रू. टीएचडीसी द्वारा 0.5 करोड़ रू.एवं एसजीवीएन द्वारा 0.5 करोड़ रू की धनराशि का सहयोग प्रदान किया गया है।
