शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सचिवालय में ऊर्जा विभाग की बैठक ली। राज्य में अधिक बिजली कटौती पर गहरी नाराजगी व्यक्त करते हुए उन्होंने अधिकारियों को सख्त निर्देश दिये कि जल्द से जल्द बिजली संकट की समस्या का समाधान ढ़ूढ़ा जाय। सचिव ऊर्जा, यूपीसीएल, पिटकुल और यूजेवीएनएल के अधिकारी बिजली संकट की समस्या के समाधान के लिए क्या किया जा सकता है, इसकी रिपोर्ट शीघ्र मुख्यमंत्री एवं मुख्य सचिव को दें। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जब औद्योगिक क्षेत्रों एवं प्रदेश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में बिजली संकट की समस्या की शुरूआत उत्पन्न हो रही थी, तब इसके उचित समाधान निकालने के सार्थक प्रयास क्यों नहीं किये गये। मुख्यमंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये की अधूरी तैयारी के साथ बैठक में न आयें। मुख्यमंत्री ने ऊर्जा एवं वैकल्पिक ऊर्जा की बैठक जल्द दुबारा किये जाने के निर्देश दिये। सभी अधिकारी यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि वे पूरी तैयारी और समस्या के समाधान की पूरी योजना बनाकर ही बैठक में आयें।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड में ऊर्जा एवं पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में अनेक संभावनाएं हैं। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि कार्य संस्कृति में सबसे पहले व्यावहारिकता लाई जाए। प्रदेश का विकास हम सबकी सामुहिक जिम्मेदारी है। सभी विभाग समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए समन्वय के साथ कार्य करें। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य में सोलर ऊर्जा को भी बढ़ावा दिया जाय। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य के कई क्षेत्रों से बिजली चोरी की शिकायते आ रही हैं। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि बिजली चोरी की शिकायतों पर संबंधित क्षेत्रों में कार्य कर रहे संबधित अधिकारियों पर सख्त कारवाई की जाय। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि व्यावहारिक समस्याओं एवं कार्य में आ रही कठिनाइयों के बारे में अवगत कराया जाय। जो समस्याएं आ रही हैं, उनका उचित समाधान निकाला जाय।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य सचिव डॉ. एस.एस.संधु, अपर मुख्य सचिव आनन्द बर्द्धन, सचिव आर. मीनाक्षी सुंदरम, निदेशक उरेडा एवं अपर सचिव रंजना राजगुरू, अपर सचिव इकबाल अहमद, एमडी यूपीसीएल अनिल यादव, एमडी यूजेवीएनएल संदीप सिंघल एवं संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।
