शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रुड़की में रोटर प्रेसिजन इंस्ट्रूमेंट प्राइवेट लिमिटेड द्वारा मेक इन इंडिया के तहत प्रदेश की पहली ड्रोन फैक्ट्री का शुभारंभ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने स्वदेशी तकनीक से बनाए जा रहे ड्रोन उपकरणों की विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त करने के साथ ही रोटर ग्रुप को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि आज प्रदेश के लिए बहुत ही ऐतिहासिक दिन है जब देश की सबसे बड़ी और प्रदेश की पहली आधुनिक ड्रोन तकनीक फैक्ट्री की शुरुआत हुई है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि भारत आदिकाल से ज्ञान विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में आगे रहा है, वेद पुराणों में भी पुष्पक विमान जैसे आधुनिक विमानों का उल्लेख है। उन्होंने कहा कि आधुनिक तकनीक के क्षेत्र में आज भारत विश्व गुरु बनने की ओर अग्रसर है। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व में भारत मेक इन इंडिया के तहत ड्रोन तकनीक और हथियार निर्माण के क्षेत्र में बहुत तेजी से कार्य कर रहा है। आज भारत तमाम देशों को हथियार निर्यात कर रहा है जो कि भारत को एक विश्व शक्ति के रूप में प्रस्तुत कर रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार और केंद्र सरकार संसाधनहीन प्रतिभाओं को मेक इन इंडिया, स्टार्ट अप इंडिया, स्किल इंडिया के तहत प्रोत्साहित कर रही है। उत्तराखंड भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों के लिहाज से बेहद जटिल राज्य है, यहां ड्रोन तकनीक बेहद कारगर सिद्ध हो सकती है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ड्रोन का राज्य में और कितना बेहतर इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है इसके लिए सभी विशेषज्ञ अपने सुझाव सरकार तक पहुंचा सकते हैं। राज्य सरकार राज्य हित से जुड़े महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर अवश्य संज्ञान लेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा प्रदेश में ड्रोन एप्लीकेशन रिसर्च सेंटर डार्क स्थापित किया गया है। हमारी सरकार का लक्ष्य है अंतिम छोर पर खड़े व्यक्ति तक पहुंचना है। हम विकल्प रहित संकल्प के सिद्धांत के साथ काम कर रहे हैं।
कार्यक्रम में रोटर ग्रुप द्वारा जानकारी दी गई कि इस ड्रोन फैक्ट्री में प्रति माह 150 से अधिक सर्वेक्षण ड्रोन और भारतीय सेना के लिए 50 से ज्यादा एडवांस ड्रोन बनाने की क्षमता है। फैक्ट्री में ड्रोन के सुरक्षित और कुशल उपयोग के साथ-साथ भू-स्थानिक डेटा उत्पादन में पायलटों को प्रशिक्षित करने के लिए एक स्वतंत्र प्रशिक्षण अकादमी भी होगी।
कार्यक्रम में विधायक रुड़की प्रदीप बत्रा, सर्वे ऑफ़ इंडिया, आईआईटी रुड़की समेत अन्य संस्थानों के प्रतिनिधि मौजूद रहे।
