भारत निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा पांच राज्यों में की गई चुनाव की घोषणा के उपरान्त प्रदेश में आदर्श आचार सहिंता प्रभावी हो गई है। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी/जिलाधिकारी डाॅ0 आर राजेश कुमार एवं डीआईजी/वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक जन्मजेय खण्डूरी ने जनपद के नगर निगम क्षेत्रान्तर्गत लगाए गए राजनैतिक होर्डिंग, पोस्टर, बैनर, फ्लेक्स आदि सामग्री को हटाये जाने के कार्य का औचक निरीक्षण किया। इस दौरान सचिवालय तिरहा क्राॅस रोड़ माॅल, सर्वेचैक, नेहरू कालोनी, धर्मपुर मंडी, हर्रावाला में विभिन्न स्थानों पर चस्पा की गई राजनैतिक प्रचार-प्रसार सामग्री हटाने के कार्यों का औचक निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान जिन स्थानों पर राजनैतिक प्रकृति की सामग्री चस्पा पाई गई उनको साथ चल रहे अधीनस्त कार्मिकों से हटवाते हुए संबंधित अधिकारियों को जनपद में सरकारी संपत्ति पर एवं अन्य स्थानों पर चस्पा की गई राजनैतिक प्रकृति की प्रचार-प्रसार यथाशीघ्र हटाने के निर्देश दिए।
इसके उपरान्त जिलाधिकारी डाॅ0 आर राजेश कुमार एवं डीआईजी/वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक जन्मजेय खण्डूरी ने आईएसबीटी एवं जनपद की आशारोड़ी चैकपोस्ट का निरीक्षण कर कोविड संक्रमण के बढ़ते मामलों के दृष्टिगत जनपद की सीमावर्ती चैक पोस्टों पर अन्य राज्यों से आने वाले व्यक्तियों का पूर्ण विवरण प्राप्त करते हुए प्रवेश के दौरान एन्टीजन/आरटीपीसीआर टेस्ट आदि कार्यों की जानकारी प्राप्त की। इस दौरान संबंधित टीम द्वारा अवगत कराया गया कि आशारोड़ी चैकपोस्ट पर बाहरी क्षेत्र से आने वाले सभी व्यक्तियों जिनके पास टेस्ट रिर्पोट नहीं है उनकी चैकपोस्ट पर बनाए गए सैंपलिंग केन्द्र में मौके पर ही सैंपलिंग की जा रही है। आज हुई सैंपलिंग में 4 व्यक्ति पाॅजिटिव पाए गए। आईएसबीटी पे निरीक्षण के दौरान बिना मास्क के घूम रहे 12 व्यक्तियों के नकद चालान किए गए।
