उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री हरीश रावत मंगलवार को अपने देहरादून आवास पर मौन उपवास पर रहे। वह एक घंटे के मौन उपवास पर रहे। उन्होंने इंटरनेट मीडिया पर पोस्ट कर यह जानकारी दी।
उन्होंने इंटरनेट मीडिया पर पोस्ट कर कहा कि वह मंगलवार को सुबह 11 बजे से दोपहर 12 बजे तक जिस समय राज्य के महामहिम राज्यपाल विधानसभा में अपना अभिभाषण दे रहे होंगे उस समय मौन उपवास पर रहेंगे।
उन्होंने कहा कि हरिद्वार जनपद के ग्रामीण विधानसभा क्षेत्र में विपक्ष के कार्यकर्ताओं का उत्पीड़न हो रहा है। शासन व प्रशासन भाजपा के दबाव में इस उत्पीड़न को कर रहा है। मैं इस उत्पीड़न के विरोध में अपना आक्रोश व्यक्त करने के लिए अपने देहरादून स्थित आवास पर एक घंटे का मौन उपवास रखूंगा।
