युद्धग्रस्त देश यूक्रेन से अपने लोगों को निकालने में अब तक भारत का आपरेशन गंगा सबसे आगे दिख रहा है। ब्रिटेन, जर्मनी और अमेरिका ने अपने-अपने नागरिकों को निकालने में परोक्ष रूप से असमर्थता जता दी है। चीन ने अपने नागरिकों को निकालने का आपरेशन स्थगित कर दिया है। मिस्त्र, नाइजीरिया और मोरक्को जैसे देशों ने अपने छात्रों को निकालने के लिए अब तक कोई आपरेशन शुरू नहीं किया है। यूक्रेन में 80 हजार से अधिक विदेशी छात्र पढ़ रहे हैं, जिनमें भारतीय छात्रों की संख्या सर्वाधिक है।
चीन ने दो दिन में स्थगित किया अपने नागरिक निकालने का आपरेशन
भारत की तरह चीन ने भी 24 फरवरी को अपने नागरिकों को चार्टर फ्लाइट से निकालने के लिए आपरेशन चलाने का एलान किया था। सभी छात्रों को चीनी झंडे लगी गाड़ियों से कीव छोड़ने की सलाह दी थी। लेकिन दो दिन बाद ही 26 फरवरी को चीन ने नई एडवाइजरी जारी कर नागरिकता की कोई पहचान सार्वजनिक करने से परहेज करने की सलाह दी। रविवार को चीनी राजदूत ने वीडियो संदेश में साफ कर दिया कि हालात उन्हें वापस लाने के अनुकूल नहीं हैं। इसके साथ ही चीनी नागरिकों को स्थानीय लोगों के साथ झगड़ा नहीं करने की सलाह दी गई। कीव व अन्य जगहों पर चीनी नागरिकों पर हमले भी हुए।

वहीं ब्रिटेन और जर्मनी ने कीव में अपने नागरिकों भगवान भरोसे छोड़ दिया है। ब्रिटेन कीव से अपना दूतावास स्थायी तौर पर बाहर ले जा चुका है, जबकि जर्मनी ने दूतावास बंद कर दिया है। ब्रिटेन ने अपने नागरिकों से वापस लाने में असमर्थता जताते हुए उन्हें स्थानीय प्रशासन के निर्देशों का पालन करने की सलाह दी है।
वहीं कीव में भारतीय दूतावास पूरी तरह से काम कर रहा है और छात्रों व नागरिकों को हर संभव मदद उपलब्ध करा रहा है।ध्यान रहे कि अब तक लगभग छह हजार लोग वापस भारत आ चुके हैं जिनमे से आपरेशन गंगा के तहत 1396 छात्रों को वापस लाया गया है। मंगलवार को फिर से तीन फ्लाइट आने की संभावना जताई जा रही है।
