नई सरकार मंत्रिमंडल के गठन का किया अनुरोध:
इस दौरान राज्यपाल को अवगत कराया कि पुष्कर सिंह धामी को विधानमंडल दल का नया नेता चुना गया है। भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष ने पुष्कर सिंह धामी के नेतृत्व में नई सरकार मंत्रिमंडल के गठन का अनुरोध पत्र राज्यपाल को सौंपा।
इस अवसर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री मीनाक्षी लेखी, अजय भट्ट, सांसद डा रमेश पोखरियाल निशंक, प्रोटेम स्पीकर बंशीधर भगत, नव निर्वाचित विधायक सतपाल महाराज, प्रेमचंद अग्रवाल, रेखा आर्य, अरविंद पांडे सहित अन्य नवनिर्वाचित विधायकगण उपस्थित रहे।
भाजपा प्रदेश अध्यक्ष मदन कौशिक के अनुरोध पत्र को स्वीकारते हुए राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह (सेनि) ने मनोनीत मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी को मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में पद एवं गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाने का निर्णय लिया है।
23 मार्च को होगा परेड ग्राउड में शपथ ग्रहण समोराह :
आज सोमवार को विधायक दल की बैठक में पुष्कर सिंह धामी को विधायक दल का नेता चुन लिया गया। अब 23 मार्च का पुष्कर सिंह धामी उत्तराखंड के 12वें मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ लेंगे। शपथ ग्रहण समारोह देहरादून के परेड ग्राउंड में आयोजित होगा।
प्रोटेम स्पीकर ने नव निर्वाचित विधायकों दिलाई शपथ:
आज पांचवीं निर्वाचित विधानसभा के सदस्यों को शपथ दिलाई गई। सुबह 11 बजे प्रोटेम स्पीकर बंशीधर भगत ने विधानसभा के नव निर्वाचित सदस्यों को शपथ दिलाई। इस दौरान सबसे पहले विधायक अनुपमा रावत को शपथ दिलाई। वहीं, कोटद्वार से विधायक रितु खंडूड़ी ने संस्कृत में शपथ ली, जबकि किशोर उपाध्याय ने गढ़वाली में शपथ ली।
