उत्तराखण्ड के वित्त, शहरी विकास एवं आवास विधायी एवं संसदीय कार्य, पुनर्गठन एवं जनगणना मंत्री प्रेम चन्द अग्रवाल ने नई दिल्ली में निर्माणाधीन भवन ‘उत्तराखण्ड निवास’ का निरीक्षण किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि निर्माण कार्य, गुणवत्ता बनाए रखते हुए तय की गई समय सीमा में पूरा करना सुनिश्चित किया जाए। कैबिनट मंत्री प्रेम चन्द अग्रवाल द्वारा उत्तराखण्ड निवास के नक्शे का अवलोकन करते हुये भवन के सभी प्रावधानों की विस्तृत जानकारी ली। इसके अलावा निर्माणाधीन भवन में गाडियों की पार्किंग व्यवस्था की भी जानकारी ली गई।
उल्लेखनीय है कि 3, गोपीनाथ बारदोलाई मार्ग, चाणक्यपुरी नई दिल्ली में जून 2020 से उत्तराखण्ड निवास का काम शुरू किया गया। भवन में तीन बेसमेन्ट होंगे। भवन में भू-तल को सम्मिलित करते हुए कुल सात तल बनाए जाएंगे। भवन उत्तराखण्ड वास्तुकला शैली में बनाया जायेगा। ग्रीन भवन की तर्ज पर बनाए जा रहे इस भवन का अपना सीवेज सोधन संयत्र होगा। भवन में 50 किलो वाट क्षमता का सोलर पावर प्लांट भी है। उत्तराखण्ड निवास का निर्माण कार्य संभावित 2023 तक पूरा कर लिया जायेगा।
