The state government has decided to start the yatra in a phased manner from July 1. There is a preparation to open the yatra for the people of the state from July 11, but on Thursday, on a PIL, the High Court has asked the state government to postpone the yatra or extend the date of travel.
Apart from this, in view of the possibility of the third wave of the Covid epidemic, the court has also raised questions on the preparedness of the state government. The government can take new decisions on both these issues in the cabinet.
Apart from this, proposals related to education, disaster management, health, transport, tourism, and loan can also be discussed in the cabinet. A proposal for a law on fees for private schools may also come in the cabinet.
