उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी मंगलवार को तड़के देहरादून की सड़कों पर साइकिल चलाते दिखे। इस दौरान उन्होंने युवाओं को फिट रहने का मंत्र भी दिया। मौका था मसूरी विंटर लाइन कार्निवाल के तहत साइकिल रैली आयोजन का। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने रैली का शुभारंभ किया।

मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री कैम्प कार्यालय से मसूरी विंटर कार्निवाल के अंतर्गत साइकिल रैली का शुभारंभ किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि मसूरी विंटर कार्निवाल पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने वाला उत्सव है। पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए साइकिल रैली का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। यह साइकिल रैली देहरादून से मसूरी तक होगी। इस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने खुद भी साइकिल चलाई।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि उत्तराखण्ड का नैसर्गिक सौन्दर्य पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करता है। राज्य सरकार द्वारा पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए निरंतर प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। राज्य में सड़क, हवाई एवं रेल कनेक्टिविटी का तेजी से विस्तार हो रहा है। राज्य में नए टूरिस्ट डेस्टिनेशन विकसित किए जा रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर जिलाधिकारी देहरादून श्रीमती सोनिका, अपर जिलाधिकारी श्री के के मिश्रा, जिला पर्यटन अधिकारी श्री जसपाल चौहान, जिला कमांडेंट होमगार्ड डॉ. राहुल सचान उपस्थिति थे।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने मेधावी छात्राओं को किया पुरस्कृत:
इससे पहले मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने सोमवार को मुख्यमंत्री कैंप कार्यालय में गोविंद बल्लभ पंत इंटर कालेज भवाली तथा जीजीआइसी भवाली की मेधावी छात्राओं वर्षा सुनाल व अंजली आर्या को सम्मानित किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने छात्राओं को अपने-अपने विद्यालयों में 10वीं कक्षा में सर्वोत्तम अंक प्राप्त करने पर स्व हीरा वल्लभ कांडपाल देवकी देवी पुरस्कार के अंतर्गत पांच-पांच हजार की धनराशि पुरस्कार स्वरूप प्रदान की।
मुख्यमंत्री ने छात्राओं के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना करते हुए कहा कि उनकी मेहनत एवं लगन अन्य छात्राओं को भी प्रेरणा प्रदान करने का कार्य करेगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने स्व हीरा वल्लभ कांडपाल देवकी देवी पुरस्कार के संचालकों के प्रयासों को भी बालिका शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने वाला प्रयास बताया।
