BJP state president Madan Kaushik has hit back at Congress in the Pegasus case. He said that Congress is taking the help of Pegasus for political selfishness. The visit of the Uttarakhand Congress to Raj Bhavan is also a part of this political gimmick. He said that the propaganda being spread through Pegasus is baseless and baseless.
State BJP President Kaushik said that Congress had put forward this fake story in a planned manner before the monsoon session of Parliament so that the proceedings of Parliament could be disrupted. He said that till now there is no such evidence anywhere in this fake story, which can be linked to the government. This report is also a conspiracy to defame India’s democracy.
He said that Congress also needs to look at its dalliance. In the year 2013, in response to information sought under RTI, it was revealed that 9000 phone and 500 email accounts were monitored every month by the then UPA government. Recently, MLAs in Rajasthan alleged that their phones were being tapped. Even in the year 2009, Mamata Banerjee made allegations of tapping her phones, emails. Not only this, in the year 2010, the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had emphasized strengthening the framework on phone tapping and violation of privacy.
He said that Congress is doing this propaganda under its agenda after seeing its political selfishness. So far it is also not claimed that the presence of any particular mobile number is infected with Pegasus. He said that the people removed Congress from power only because of the scams and lies. Now an existential crisis has arisen in front of him.
