पाकिस्तान में पहली बार किसी हिंदू धर्म के शख्स को लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल नियुक्त किया गया है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स में बताया गया कि पाकिस्तानी आर्मी ने इतिहास में पहली बार किसी हिंदू अधिकारी को लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल के पद पर पदोन्नत किया है।
पाकिस्तानी सेना की मीडिया विंग ने इसकी जानकारी दी है। आर्मी की तरफ से जारी एक बयान में कहा गया कि सिंध प्रांत के थार जिले के रहने वाले कैलाश कुमार एक शानदार अधिकारी हैं।
पाकिस्तान के सामा न्यूज ने बताया कि कैलाश कुमार इस पद पर पहुंचने वाले पहले हिंदू-पाकिस्तानी हैं। उनकी रैंक को मेजर से लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल में अपग्रेड किया गया है।
