कांग्रेस के पूर्व प्रदेश अध्यक्ष, पूर्व नेता प्रतिपक्ष और चकराता विधायक प्रीतम सिंह ने सोमवार को सचिवालय कूच के माध्यम से शक्ति प्रदर्शन किया। इस कूच में कांग्रेस के 19 विधायकों में से प्रीतम सहित 14 विधायक शामिल हुए। इससे अब पार्टी के भीतर ध्रुवीकरण की राजनीति नए सिरे से आकार लेती नजर आ रही है। महिला अपराध, भर्ती परीक्षा घोटाला, भ्रष्टाचार समेत विभिन्न मुद्दों को लेकर सोमवार को कांग्रेसियों ने राज्य सरकार के विरुद्ध सचिवालय कूच किया।
प्रीतम सिंह के आह्वान पर प्रदेशभर से बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्त्ता ढोल-दमाऊ के साथ रेंजर्स मैदान में जुटे। यहां सभा के बाद उन्होंने दर्शन लाल चौक, घंटाघर, एस्लेहाल, ग्लोब चौक होते हुए सचिवालय कूच किया। हालांकि, सुभाष रोड पर सचिवालय से पहले ही बैरिकेडिंग लगाकर पुलिस ने जुलूस को रोक दिया, जिस पर कई कांग्रेस नेता बैरिकेडिंग पर चढ़ गए। इस दौरान पुलिस और प्रदर्शनकारियों के बीच तीखी नोकझोंक भी हुई। प्रदर्शनकारियों ने वहीं पर धरना-प्रदर्शन शुरू कर दिया। बाद में पुलिस ने हिरासत में लेकर इन्हें रेसकोर्स स्थित रिजर्व पुलिस लाइन ले जाकर निजी मुचलके पर छोड़ दिया।
सचिवालय कूच के दौरान नेता प्रतिपक्ष यशपाल आर्य, उपनेता सदन भुवन कापड़ी, विधायक तिलकराज बेहड़, गोपाल राणा, मयूख महर, मदन सिंह बिष्ट, आदेश चौहान, सुमित हृदयेश, ममता राकेश, फुरकान अहमद, वीरेंद्र जाती, रवि बहादुर व विक्रम सिंह नेगी, पूर्व मंत्री डा. हरक सिंह रावत, हीरा सिंह बिष्ट, दिनेश अग्रवाल, पूर्व विधायक विजयपाल सजवाण, युवा कांग्रेस के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सुमितर भुल्लर, महानगर अध्यक्ष लालचंद शर्मा, सूर्यकांत धस्माना, आर्येंद्र शर्मा, पूर्व विधायक राजकुमार, महानगर व्यापार प्रकोष्ठ के अध्यक्ष सुनील कुमार बांगा सहित बड़ी संख्या में कांग्रेस कार्यकर्त्ता शामिल रहे।
अब राज्य बचाने की लड़ाई लड़नी होगी : हरक
पूर्व मंत्री डा. हरक सिंह रावत ने कहा कि आज राज्य गठन के लिए अपना बलिदान देने वाले आंदोलनकारियों की आत्मा रो रही है। वनंतरा प्रकरण, यूकेएसएसएससी भर्ती घोटाले में दोषियों को सख्त सजा दिलाने में सरकार की नाकामी सामने आई है। दिल्ली के छावला में उत्तराखंड की युवती के साथ हुए दुष्कर्म मामले में स्वजन को न्याय नहीं मिला। महिला अपराध, बेरोजगारी चरम पर है। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्व में उत्तराखंड को बनाने की लड़ाई लड़ी गई थी, लेकिन अब उत्तराखंड को बचाने की लड़ाई लड़नी होगी।
