टनकपुर व चम्पावत नगरवासियों के लिए अच्छी खबर। सालों से चली आ रही टनकपुर चम्पावत की सीवरेज लाइन बनाने की मांग जल्द पूरी होगी। सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि जल्द ही टनकपुर व चम्पावत में सौ-सौ करोड़ की लागत से सीवरेज लाइन बिछाने का कार्य किया जाएगा। इसके लिए धनराशि स्वीकृत की जा चुकी है। खटीमा की तर्ज पर चम्पावत में भी सीएसडी कैंटीन खोली जाएगी।
मुख्यमंत्री धामी के चम्पावत से उपचुनाव लडऩे के बाद जनपद में विकास की धारा प्रवाह होने लगी है। सीएम धामी रविवार को तामली में चुनावी रैली को संबोधित करने के बाद चम्पावत मुख्यालय पहुंचे। जहां उन्होंने एक निजी होटल में रात्रि विश्राम किया और वहीं उन्होंने मीडिया से बातचीत पर उन्होंने चम्पावत के विकास पर विस्तार से जानकारी दी।
सीएम धामी ने कहा कि चम्पावत में विकास की अपार संभावनाएं हैं। आने वाला समय चम्पावत के पर्यटन हब के रूप में विकसित होगा। सभी मंदिरों को मानसखंड के तहत सर्किट से जोड़ा जाएगा। चम्पावत व टनकपुर में रोप वे का निर्माण किया जाएगा। स्वास्थ्य व शिक्षा सुविधाओं को सुदृढ़ किया जाएगा। गांवों को सडक़ व कनेक्टिविटी से जोड़ा जाएगा।
टनकपुर में सालों पूर्व बनी सीवरेज लाइन खराब हो गई है। जिसे फिर से बिछाया जाएगा। वहीं चम्पावत में यह काम होगा। दोनों जगह के लिए सौ-सौ करोड़ रुपये स्वीकृत किए जा चुके हैं। टनकपुर बागेश्वर रेल लाइन सर्वे के लिए केंद्र सरकार से 29 करोड़ स्वीकृत हो चुके हैं। इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज को ट्रिपल आइटी बनाने की कवायद शुरू कर दी गई है।
